LIPOSUCTION

Liposuction

Regardless of man or woman, everyone can have stubborn adipose tissue that is resistant to diet and exercise in one or more areas of his life at any point in his life. No matter how much you pay attention to your diet and exercise, you may not be able to get rid of the settled fat in these areas.

In such cases, the most effective method you need is Liposuction. With liposuction, you can get rid of your stubborn fat and get the physique you dream of and the self-confidence you deserve.

What is Liposuction?

Liposuction is also commonly referred to as Lipo or Liposculpture. Liposuction, by any name, is one of the most popular body contouring procedures performed in our country and is typically performed under general anesthesia.

Liposuction can be applied as a stand-alone procedure or in combination with procedures such as tummy tuck, breast reduction and maternity aesthetics.

As important as it is to understand what liposuction is, it is equally important to understand what it is not. Liposuction is not a weight loss surgery. It is not a solution to obesity and cannot solve problems such as stretch marks, skin laxity, dimples or cellulite. If you are interested in having this procedure, you should be at a stable and healthy weight.

Benefits of Liposuction

Liposuction can be a life-changing experience, offering a number of beneficial results such as:

º Balanced, beautiful figure
º A younger and fit body shape
º Better fit with swimwear and other clothing
º More confidence

In addition to the body sculpting benefits of liposuction, you may find that, like many who have undergone the procedure, you are inspired to live an active and healthy lifestyle to maintain your results. These lifestyle changes can provide significant long-term benefits and help you stay in better shape for years to come.

Common Liposuction Treatment Areas

Liposuction is a highly versatile procedure that can effectively treat any area containing subcutaneous fat. The most common areas for liposuction are:

º Abdominal area
º Bagel area
º Basins
º Hip
º Chest
º Back
º arms
º Thighs
º Inner knee
º Tickle region

Liposuction is a popular treatment for both women and men. In addition to fine-tuning their masculine contours, many men also opt for liposuction to treat gynecomastia, a condition in which men suffer from excess breast tissue.

Liposuction Candidates

Like other plastic surgery procedures, liposuction candidates must be at least 18 years old and have realistic expectations of what the procedure can accomplish. Typically good liposuction candidates:

º In good general health.
º Having a healthy and stable weight
º Non-smoker or willing to quit 2 weeks before the procedure
º Have realistic expectations for results

It is best to consider liposuction as an effective method to put the finishing touches on your exercise and nutrition efforts. Lipo is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. If you are very overweight, you may need to delay treatment until you reach a healthy weight goal.

Liposuction Recovery Process

It is important to understand that each patient is unique and may recover a little differently. Some patients choose to take three to five days off work to recuperate, while others may return to work in as little as 24 hours, depending on the type of procedure performed and the physical requirements of their job. Rest as much as possible and avoid strenuous activities during your recovery.

After the operation, dressing is done and a corset suitable for the liposuction area is worn. This corset is used for about 4 weeks. The treatment area may be numb or uncomfortable for the first few days after surgery. You may also experience some swelling or bruising; These symptoms are completely normal and will decrease over time.

You may see some results right after your procedure, but the final result of liposuction is fully evident a few months after surgery.

Will There Be Traces of Liposuction?

A few mm incisions are made during liposuction surgery. These incisions are carefully closed with sutures, tissue adhesives and tape. Therefore, these incisions disappear after a while.
